WOMEN EMANCIPATION PROGRAM

INTRODUCTION

Women comprises 50% of country’s population, but due to numerous challenge and hindrances is least visible represented at different forums, tiers pf government and society. Women’s role is integral for community development. No nation can progress ever by keeping it 50% population behind the walls. Women’s contribution educationally, socially, politically and economically remarkable and worth appreciation whichever circumstances, role and situation she works. The role of women needs to be projected highlighted and acknowledged worldwide. The vulnerability of the most important segment of society needs to be addressed.

Women Emancipation is an on-going journey in Pakistan which requires series of strategic steps at various tiers. Our political women leadership will serve catalyst between local women and political rights of women in Pakistan. RWN envisions that when the world invests in women and girls everyone wins. RWN is working on 3 pronged strategies under this theme and the details are as under:

WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS:

Encouraging entrepreneurship is essential for several reason, the main one being is elimination of gender inequality, socio-economic empowerment leading towards sustainable development, social cohesion, reducing GBV, and mainstreaming gender.

The development of entrepreneurship is not only important for market and society as whole but extremely beneficial for promoting pluralism in society and by reducing gender gaps.

KEY STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES ARE FOLLOW:

Advocacy and sensitizing about gender response laws and policies.

To create social and political awareness among the national women of Pakistan.

To enhance the digital literacy skills.

By Creating an entrepreneurship ecosystem, generating new job opportunity and making women financially independent.
